Lt. Spurling K-4 Art

We all have been working on preparing our portfolios for our artwork. In the process some of us are learning to do bubble or block letters for our names and filling in with a tie-dye effect. Students have been so excited to add to their knowledge a few new things as we begin this exciting new school year.

We have some needs in the art room that maybe some of you might be able to contribute to: Multi-color yarn, 1-gallon size plastic ziploc baggies, Elmer’s runny glue, Kleenex, Dawn dish soap, and Hand sanitizer.

Week of 8/12-8/16/19

Thank you all for a great start to the year! We are learning how to be the best cadets we can be here at APA. I have attached the weekly newsletter and spelling words. If your newsletter ever gets misplaced, you should be able to find the same information here on our class blog.

Today for FUN FRIDAY we started off our morning with outdoor stretching, dancing and reading time. We will be practicing how to get on the computers today, setting up our “Take Home” folders and decorating our agendas.

Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or concerns at all throughout the year. Your input into your student’s education is very important to me so please, don’t hesitate to get in contact with me. My email is and my classroom phone number is 765-649-8472 Ext. 2015. If you haven’t signed up for our class Remind101 app yet, that is also a great way to get in contact with me. Just text @3bh429 to 81010 and that should give you access to our class. The best way to reach me is through the Remind101 app but I will be checking my classroom phone voicemail and email as well.
