We are continuing to work on grouping in math. We are working with pennies and dimes to reinforce the concepts we are learning.  The cadets are working with three digits numbers which is difficult for some students.  Practice at home with them to boost their learning.

Bravo and Charlie will be conducting Entrepreneur days on December 18 and 19.  All items will range from $0.50 to $2.00.  We will donate 10% of our profit to charities.

We will be holding a clothing drive to assist students during the cold winter months. If you are able to donate we are needing coats, scarves, and hats.

Note from Miss Adkins:

We are having Entrepreneur Day again this year! On December 18th and 19th, our Delta students are going to be selling products that they have made. Prices will range from $0.25 to $2.00. Our students will be able to go and buy things during this time. 20% of proceeds are going to be donated to charity!

Also, do not forget that we are having our winter coat drive! We are looking for new/gently used coats, gloves, hats, and scarves of all sizes. Your student can earn community service hours for bringing in items!

Make sure that your students have headphones! They are required to wear headphones while they are working on Compass!

This Friday is our Alpha/Bravo Holiday program!! Please make sure that you students are in attendance that night! This is a mandatory event for their music grade! Doors open at 5:30 and there is an art show at that time. The program starts at 6 but your students should get with their class on the stage by 5:45 if possible. Your child can dress up in holiday wear if they want, we just ask that they are not wearing ripped jeans or graphic tees. The kids have been working really hard preparing for this show and they want to show you what they have been working on! They are doing a great job!

This week in Chemistry cadets will be going over the types of molecular bonds. There are three lessons in Compass (Ionic, Covalent bond and Metalic) that will will be treated as one continues lesson. There are a number of AQ Quizzes in each lesson that need to be completed by Friday.

This week we will be discussing plate tectonics in Earth Space Science. There are three AQ quizzes in the lesson that need to be completed by Friday December 6th, 2019.
